Our History

A Party Built by Citizens

The Liberal Party of ToadVille Bay (LPT) was founded on May 2, 1966 by Saul Meyers Perez, having split from the Parti ToadVillen to establish a distinct centre-left, liberal political force in the Republic. Registered under number TB-21842, the party is headquartered at 325DF Boris Way, ToadVille Bay D.F., Distrito Federal, Republic of ToadVille Bay.

Guided by the ideology of Liberalism and a centre-left political position, the LPT is a proud member of Liberals United — the international affiliation of liberal and progressive parties. Our slogan, "ToadVille Bay Welcomes You," reflects our commitment to an open, inclusive, and welcoming Republic for every citizen.

Today, under the leadership of Gabriel Medrano Gutiérrez — elected in Byfront Market on June 30, 2026 with a majority of 219 — the Liberal Party holds 263 seats in Parliament and a national membership of 34,583,521 citizens.

The party is supported by three affiliated wings: the Liberal Students of TB, the Young Liberals of TB, and the Women Liberal Wing of TB — ensuring every generation and community has a voice within our movement.

Clean Bay Act — Introduced and passed landmark environmental legislation protecting ToadVille Bay's waterways.
